The nationwide strike, scheduled for Wednesday November 9th, will cause many disruptions to traffic and especially to airports. While Brussels Airport has announced the cancellation of at least 40% of its flights, Brussels South Charleroi Airport says there will simply be no flights to or from its facilities at all.
“Due to the nationwide strike of 9 November 2022, the 120 commercial flights to and from Brussels South Charleroi Airport will be cancelled. All passengers receive information from their airlines. Access to Terminal 1 will not be possible. Brussels South Charleroi Airport regrets this situation and apologizes to the 20,000 passengers affected for the inconvenience sufferedThe airport confirmed in a press release.
TUI fly Belgium previously announced that its flights from/to Charleroi will be relocated to Maastricht-Aachen and Cologne/Bonn airports
