Air Serbia will start direct flights between Belgrade and Chicago (O’Hare International Airport – ORD) from May 17, 2023, further expanding its activities in the US market.
After a hiatus of more than 30 years, the Serbian national airline resumes service to the famous Windy City. Until June 11, flights will operate twice a week on Wednesdays and Saturdays, while from June 12 Belgrade-Chicago flights will operate three times a week on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays. The flights last approximately 11 hours and will be operated with Airbus A330 aircraft from Air Serbia’s long-haul fleet. Tickets are already available at the starting price of 640 euros for a return trip including all taxes.

By reopening the route, Air Serbia will have good connections between Chicago and other cities in its network such as Athens, Vienna, Berlin, Bologna, Bucharest, Dubrovnik, Istanbul, Larnaca, Ljubljana, Prague, Pula, Podgorica, Rome, Sarajevo, Skopje via Belgrade , Sofia, Tivat, Venice, Zagreb and many others. On the other hand, thanks to its interline partnership with JetBlue and American Airlines, Air Serbia will be able to offer better connections for passengers continuing their journey from Chicago and New York to other locations in North America.
