The head of a leading solutions company welcomed the government’s call for the UK to future-proof its economy by investing in cutting-edge, green technology.

His comments come after International Trade Secretary Kemi Badenoch said on Tuesday (November 1) at the Green Trade and Investment Expo in Gateshead, Tyne and Wear that new technologies to tackle climate change are creating high-paying skilled jobs while providing a path in pave the future energy security.
In her speech, Ms Badenoch said now is the time to future-proof the economy by investing in green, cutting-edge technology that protects long-term energy security and creates thousands of jobs in the industries of the future.
She highlighted the UK’s success over the past two years in attracting almost £20 billion in green investment from abroad and creating more than 11,000 new jobs.
