Fulfillment solution provider 6 River Systems (6RS) has unveiled new capabilities for its robotic solution designed to improve the productivity and flexibility of warehouse operations.

The new capabilities are reportedly integrated with 6RS’ Software-as-a-Service (SaaS)-based fulfillment execution system and autonomous mobile robot (AMR) called Chuck. According to 6RS, this makes their product a highly configurable warehouse automation solution.

The company also provides the “tools and insights needed to maximize operations as fulfillment speed becomes a competitive differentiator for warehouse operators and the retailers they serve.”

The new functionality of 6RS’ Wall-to-Wall Fulfillment solution is designed to support evolving operational needs as e-commerce sales continue to grow and automated solutions become more important to meet demand.

The company hints that this means the appetite for automation technologies that empower workers, increase margins, and boost throughput is only growing.

Rylan Hamilton, co-founder and chief executive of 6 River Systems, says, “Fulfillment can no longer be an afterthought as warehouses adapt to increasing demand, labor costs and faster SLAs.

“Our customers need intelligent, networked solutions that can be integrated into the existing infrastructure.

“The improvements we’ve made to our system through both hardware and software allow warehouse operators to increase efficiency, stabilize work and support continued growth.”
