J&C Aero supports the Libyan start-up Crown Airlines with the cabin modernization and painting for its new fleet

J&C Aero, an international aerospace design and manufacturing company, and Libyan start-up airline Crown Airlines signed an agreement for cabin modernization and aircraft branding support during the delivery of the airline’s first two Airbus A320s.

The agreement, signed shortly after the Aircraft Interiors Expo in June 2022, covers the design and production of a variety of aircraft cabin interior elements, including seat covers, carpets, seat belts and cabin curtains. The contract also includes galley modifications to the specifications of the new operator of the two aircraft.

In addition, the Libyan airline commissioned J&C Aero with the design, production and installation of the fleet’s branding livery. The latter have already been completed, along with cabin conversion and modification work on both of Crown Airlines’ Airbus A320s.

We first met Crown Airlines during the summer’s AIX event. From the start we understood the complexity of the project and our colleagues’ focus on the exceptional quality of the work and materials used. And so we are grateful for the opportunity to support the new airline in branding the fleet and look forward to the converted aircraft welcoming their first guests soon. We wish Crown Airlines good wind and happy passengers, shared Vitalijus Malyška, COO at J&C Aero.

We have started upgrading the cabin interior of our leased A320s for the planned start of operations in November 2022. We have completely upgraded the economy class seat covers, aircraft cabin carpet and installed brand new business class seats. In addition to the facelift, we introduced Crown’s new Premium Economy cabin class, which offers more legroom and improved airport and inflight services. This project was initiated to ensure Crown customers “experience FlyCrown and the difference” and was managed primarily in partnership with J&C Aero. Having J&C Aero as a partner to run such a program worked perfectly to deliver our A320s on time and to a high quality‘ said Ziad Farhoud, CEO of Crown Airlines.
