On November 9, the day of the general strike in Belgium, TUI fly Belgium is switching all flights to Cologne and Maastricht

TUI fly Belgium will divert the 18 flights planned in Belgium on Wednesday to Cologne/Bonn and Maastricht-Aachen airports because of the national strike day on November 9 called by the three Belgian unions, spokesman Piet Demeyere said. Therefore, no flights will be cancelled.

TUI fly will use shuttle buses to transport its customers from Brussels, Ostend, Antwerp, Charleroi and Liège to the alternative airports. Return flights will also be diverted to the same airports, and passengers can return to Belgium by bus.

The airline is contacting all of its customers to inform them of the changes to their travel.
