OOIDA prepares for the annual Truckers for Troops campaign

The Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association (OOIDA) is preparing to launch its 16th annual Truckers for Troops campaign, a fundraiser in support of U.S. service members and women serving in combat zones around the world. The campaign runs from November 7th to 14th in conjunction with Veterans Day next Friday November 11th. An OOIDA tradition since 2007, Truckers for Troops raises money to send care packages to troops overseas and also supports veterans facilities across the country, including those that assist or house wounded, disabled or homeless service members. OOIDA has raised more than $729,000 through Truckers for Troops over the past 15 years and sent more than 3,200 relief packages in support of 39,252 military members. The week-long fundraiser will feature daily broadcasts on OOIDA landline now Satellite radio broadcast on Sirius XM 146.
