The Barcode Warehouse introduces a new management service for small to medium sized mobile inventory

The Barcode Warehouse, the UK integrator of B2B technology solutions, has launched a new service called Managed Services Core to help small and medium-sized businesses improve the management and efficiency of their mobile technology estate.

providing a managed service that provides distinctive device management solutions and data; Barcode Warehouse has identified a gap in the market for SMBs that need a stripped-down version of a fully managed service, rather than just a repair loop, without sacrificing the services and tools unsuitable for smaller fleets of devices.

Stuart Evans, Head of Support Services at The Barcode Warehouse, comments: “Having supported customers for over 18 years, we have a deep understanding of what it takes to effectively manage a fleet of devices to enable a business to operate at peak efficiency . We’ve also learned over the years that smaller properties with 200 or fewer devices simply need less, but we don’t think that should mean less well. That’s why we’ve compiled our most used and loved support services and made them more accessible to smaller organizations, so they can scale the support they need, when they need it.”

The new service, which the company says is targeting fleets of technology devices such as mobile handheld computers, PDAs, scanners, tablets and mobile label printers of 200 or fewer, includes the most popular services the company offers; Incident management, buffer and repair management, break/fix repairs and device data reports.

The Barcode Warehouse, which is also the UK’s leading reseller for the leading mobility technology brands including Zebra, Datalogic, Honeywell, Samsung and Panasonic among others, works across multiple sectors with high profile clients in retail, T&L, warehousing, healthcare, utilities , Field Service and Construction; recently opened a multi-million dollar innovation and customer experience center in the Midlands where customers can see and demonstrate first-hand the power of the latest technologies integrated with best-in-class software and services.

Danny Rayner, Service Operations Manager – CoE at Baxi, one of the UK’s largest providers of commercial heating and hot water solutions, says: “Barcode Warehouse has been excellent in managing our inventory of handheld mobile devices. Your service has resulted in our team of more than 200 customer service technicians having fully operational technology 24/7.”
