United Airlines Boeing 777 bound for Brussels, Belgium, returning to Newark after a possible bird strike

On November 23, a United Airlines Boeing 777-300 (registered N2534U) was scheduled to operate flight UA999 between New York, Newark, USA and Brussels, Belgium. Shortly after takeoff, the crew reported a possible bird strike and returned to Newark.

The plane landed safely back in Newark‘ United Airlines said in a statement. The plane was cleared to fly to Brussels, where it landed three hours late.
