UK-based Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity platform provider Wireless Logic has announced it has acquired software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider IoThink Solutions for an undisclosed fee.
IoThink was founded in France in 2016 with the aim of providing customers with tools to build their own tailor-made IoT platforms. Now it’s part of Wireless Logic, which has been involved in connectivity across multiple sectors since the turn of the century. One of Wireless Logic’s founders, Chief Executive Oliver Tucker, said, “There are great synergies between Wireless Logic and IoThink Solutions and this is an exciting acquisition for us as it extends our reach to an adjacent part of the value chain.”
Julien Dalmasso, Co-Founder and Chief Executive of IoThink Solutions, commented positively on the acquisition: “Joining one of the world’s largest IoT connectivity providers is a natural fit and a logical next step for us. Wireless Logic is a heavyweight in the IoT industry as evidenced by recent global momentum, partnerships and overall market success. Bringing our IoT enablement solution to Wireless Logic’s extensive customer base represents a tremendous opportunity.”
Wireless Logic plans to integrate its connectivity solutions into IoThink’s core offering – the Kheiron IoT Suite.
